The marital separation between Anita Oyakhilome and her ex-husband Pastor Chris Oyakhilome of Loveworld, aka Christ Embassy, came as a big shock to millions of believers around the world. It was something that could not have been predicted. However, it is believed that all things work together for good. She left her country, Nigeria, and since then, there have been speculations that she has remarried. After much findings, here are the things we discovered.
Where is Anita Oyakhilome Now?
After their divorce was concluded, the mother of two left her country, Nigeria, and the church ministry in which she co-founded. She relocated to London, where she is believed to be residing till today.
Anita has maintained a quiet life both online and offline. She has never been since spotted in a public gathering, and it became worse to the extent that she did not attend the wedding of her biological daughter, Sharon Carrisa Oyakhilome, in 2018. As a matter of fact, she no longer uses the name Oyakhilome. Instead, she reverted to using her maiden name, Ebodaghe.

Many months after switching to her maiden name, Ebodaghe, she added the name ‘Schafer’ to it, and this fueled speculations that she has remarried to an estranged man called Mr Schafer in London.
However, on her blog known as ‘Mind Whisper’, she disclosed that she is now a life solution therapist. She also denounces all affiliations with the Christ Embassy Church. She now addresses herself as Anita Schafer.
Seeing as Anita rarely speaks out about her personal life, it was shocking when she came out and disproved these rumors. As it turned out, ‘Schäfer’ is her mother’s last name. By taking both of her parents’ names, Anita tried to honor them. Instead, she unknowingly created another topic for gossip.

After then, there has been no debate about her marital life again on social media or in public.
Pastor Anita, after struggling with a complicated divorce case, hateful comments from the public, and other related issues, has decided to keep a low profile to heal and to carry on with her personal ministry.
