Born on October 4th, Pastor Victor Akuwa hails from Umuahia, Abia State, Nigeria. He had his early education at Command Day Secondary School, Odogbo, Ibadan, where he studied between 1999 and 2006.

Driven by a passion for knowledge, he proceeded to the University of Ibadan in 2013, where he earned his degree in Psychology. His academic journey didn’t stop there; between March 2016 and October 2017, he obtained a Master’s in Information Science at the University of Ibadan. Victor Akuwa’s journey into ministry began in 2006, shortly after completing secondary school. His first assignment was evangelism, where he and a few friends passionately preached the gospel at the University of Ibadan and its surrounding communities.

On November 1st, 2015, he was ordained a pastor at God-Will-Do-It Ministries, Ibadan, under the leadership of Dr. G.F. Oyor.

By 2014, Pastor Victor received clear direction about his calling: to “raise sons who would take territories by teaching God’s Word with the revelation of Jesus, leading men to God in prayers, and guiding them into true encounters in worship.”

This conviction later gave birth to his ministry expression.

Ministry and Leadership

Pastor Victor serves as an Associate Pastor at Davidic Generation Church, an arm of the Springs of Freedom Christian Centre in Ibadan, Oyo State.

In 2017, he officially launched The Prevailing House, a ministry he founded in 2018 as led by God. This ministry focuses on prayer, worship, and Word-based outreaches for the edification of the body of Christ. Through it, Pastor Victor continues to raise men and women equipped to walk in God’s purpose.

He is also a Lead Pastor, teacher, and discipler whose passion is to see believers grow in the in-depth knowledge of God’s Word and live it out daily.
