Uche Ozokwor is the son of Nigeria’s Nollywood Legend, Patience Ozokwor. He became a social media sensation in 2013 when he tied the knot with his longtime friend, Gloria in London.

Uche Ozokwor is a graduate of the Enugu State University of Science and technology. He met his wife in London and both of them hail from Ngwo, Enugu State.

Uche lost his dad some years back to a terminal disease. Since the death of their father, his mom, Mama G as she is fondly called by her fans, has never looked back as she continued to uphold her family and still enlarge her profile in the movie industry.

Uche is one among four children born to Mrs Patience, and they also have an adopted child among her family members.

Patience had said this about her son and his wife during their wedding:

“I am in love with the couple. I thank God for them and my family. Although the wedding is taking place outside the shores of Nigeria however, Igbo customs and traditions shall govern the marriage rites.”

His Movie Career

Uche and his mother both featured in her first ever UK- Nollywood film “Why Marry?”. It was produced by Visionary and Directed by Nelson Spyk.

The premiere of Bridget Benjamin – directed movie ‘Why Marry?’ took place in London. The movie also featured Van Vicker, Princess Brun Njua, Suzi Oben, Labell Diamond, Mazi Obi, Goretti, Gift Boyo, Vera B and a host of other UK stars.

The movie depicts Mama G in a serious role as she played the character of a wicked in-law.
