On Wednesday, November 20, Pastor Joseph Prince, the lead pastor of the New Creation Church, announced the acquisition of The Star Vista mall for $296 million, citing the need to “protect the interest of the church.”
Previously, the mega church only owned The Star Performing Arts Centre (PAC), a concert venue within the mall used for its services. But with this acquisition, it now has complete ownership of the entire building.

The decision came after the church learned that CapitaLand, the mall’s former owner, was in discussions with other buyers. To avoid uncertainty about future ownership, New Creation secured the deal through its business arm, Rock Productions, ensuring continued support for the church’s use of the premises.
