Hannah Poole and Maverick City Music’s Chandler Moore tied the knot on Tuesday at a “special” ceremony held at The 4 Eleven in Fort Worth, Texas, which happens to be their one-year anniversary of knowing each other.
Naomi Raine of Maverick City Music delivered the song “A Thousand Years” as Poole walked down the aisle.
Hannah wore a Grace Loves Lace dress and Saint Laurent heels on her wedding day, while her husband wore a Rich Fresh tuxedo, Tom Ford shirt and tie paired with Christian Louboutin shoes.
“What we experienced at our wedding was the climax of this last year of our lives. We first met on June 8th, 2020, and we got married a year later to the date,” the couple tells PEOPLE. “These last 12 months have been full of joy, and that’s exactly what our wedding was.”
Some Christian celebrities who were spotted at the ceremony included Adrienne Bailon Haughton, singer-songwriter Israel Houghton, Kirk and Tammy Franklin, Marvin Sapp, Tony Brown, and Jonathan Jay “JJ” of TRIBL Records and founders of Maverick City Music. Also in attendance were City First Church pastor Robert Madu and wife Taylor Madu.

The post with the “controversial photo” reads, “@hgracemoore knows how to twerrrrrrrk. #hallelujah JEEESUS,” Chandler Moore captioned the picture.
Soon after, his timeline was flooded with critics who criticized the photo as being sexual, with some people beginning to say negative things about him and his wife. All this happened during their honeymoon.
Someone said Moore knew that his post was “salacious & ungodly. Carnal behavior.” Another chimed in, noting that “Modesty is something you’d expect from someone with such an anointed platform. Marriage is beautiful. Sex within a marriage is beautiful, but this is unnecessary. We’re called to a higher standard.”
However, as the trolls were coming in, Moore saw the need to come out to address the photo. In His words:
“I won’t give too much context, because it’s not necessary, but for those who actually care… My wife was dancing on me. We weren’t doing a ‘sexual act,’” Moore explained in his latest Instagram post.
“As I said in the caption, she was dancing. There was great music being played. We took a picture while dancing. That’s all. If it offended you that I posted it, I apologize.”
